Why don’t we do killer workouts every saturday? Why are they always programmed so you rest while your partner works? Because we are more concerned with your results rather than how you feel for 30mins. Sure a real hard continuous 30-40min flogging may feel good to those who love their fitness but it will be one of the biggest limiters to you actually getting fitter. You see because the longer you work the more cortisol (stress hormone) gets released, and the more we actually begin to breakdown muscle and store fat cause thats what excess cortisol does. On the other hand when we work in intervals the body responds in the complete opposite building muscle via recovery and burning fat. Simply by resting and working as hard as possible in intervals you avoid the cortisol release and get dem gains.
So if your goal is to breakdown muscle and store fat then let us know, otherwise, enjoy the fitness gains
